Synthstrom Deluge - Isomorphic Keyboard Jam

"I'm having fun with the isomorphic keyboard layout on the deluge. It takes a little bit of getting used to but sure is a lot of fun. I especially like how easy it is to play some pretty fast pentatonic runs just like on a guitar.

All synth sounds other than the lead originated from The Korg opsix."

Elektron Octatrack & Arturia Microbrute Jam

"I am jamming with the Octatrack and the Microbute. I think they make an excellent pair. The Microbrute is very simple but has nice analogue sound with lots of character. The OT on the other hand can get pretty complex, has loads of FX and the cool LFO's. So they complement each other in a very good way.

The Microbrute was the sound source for everything you hear in this one."

Elektron Digitone - FM Envelopes

"I'm showing you how to assign stuff to the macro knobs and buttons on the Hydrasynth. I'm making a patch using all eight available macros going over some different ways of using them. Check the timestamps below if you are interested in something in particular.

In the end I'm taking a shot at making some music with the newly - somewhat randomly - created patch.

Synthstrom Deluge, Elektron Analog Keys, Minilogue XD Jam

"In this Jam I'm trying to take advantage of the analog sweetness of the Analog Keys and the Minilogue XD. I'm sending MIDI from the Deluge to the two synths. They're both receiving pretty much the same sequences. I only shifted the some octaves and deleted some notes.

There are never more than to different notes being played at the same time but thanks to some long release times and ridiculous amounts of reverb and delay they turn into some pretty nice chords I think."

Synthstrom Deluge - Sawtooth Jam

"A simple filtered sawtooth with a tiny bit of resonance and a bit of filter mod with a plucky envelope is probably my favorite sound coming out of the deluge. Here I am jamming on a track with the main melody played by just that sound."

"Just having fun improvising on the microbrute over a simple chord progression played by the deluge. Delay and reverb for the microbrute is also coming from the deluge.

The microbrute is special to me because it was the first synth I owned. Even though I don't use it as much anymore I still love it for its hands-on control and I think it sounds fantastic!"
